I have a 16yo who's been down after surgery. She finally goes back to school tomorrow.

Glad you are on your way to less pain.

Doesn't the post-anesthesia feel horrible? Sleep, sleep, sleep; it's the best thing you can do for yourself!

neuralgia and this. And opiods don't work on nerve pain.

To make sure you're healing on schedule and to address any concerns or questions you have. I've had surgeries and for the last one I had to call in and report everyday. That really made a huge difference, since I tend to be a worrier. But your attitude is positive and it sounds like you're recovering well. Sometimes it just takes time... Let us know how you're doing.

something. So many people were involved -- nurses.the doc, the orderlies pushing me into the OR. Lovely folks and I am totally grateful. pulling off the bandage on my skin was so piercingly painful on my old, thin skin and I yelped each time they pulled and an old guy in a room across from mine voiced his encouragement as he heard my yelps. The nurses said "squeeze my hand."
god, they were good!
