(22,300 posts)I have watched a few episodes of the animated version and enjoyed it.
I think all the original actors did the voices, except maybe the mother. She passed away and I don't know if it was before the animated version was released.

(12,039 posts)It's about a planeload of passengers that takes off in Jamaica -- and lands at its intended destination in NY 5 1/2 years later, with no explanation for where it's been. The passengers think they've just been on a turbulent plane ride. The rest of the world doesn't know what to think. The aftermath is fascinating.

(46,160 posts)Very well done horror limited series. The horror doesn't show up immediately but builds slowly, which is pretty cool.
It's odd to see so much religion (in the form of a tiny Catholic church on a sparsely populated fishing island) mixed in with horror. To me, that makes it quite intriguing.

(46,160 posts)Not watching it because I've watched the whole thing twice now.
Penguin Town - a wonderful, limited series about an endangered group of penguins and how they pass mating season in a town in South Africa. Absolutely delightful in every way.
"Six hot months, one wild colony, and no rules." Edited to add: Netflix.
