This sort of madness was chronic. All the kids wanted ONE THING every birthday or holiday, and this was pre-Amazon (pre web!), and we devoted parents would descend on Toys R Us and Best Buy and Circle City....

Those were the days... NOT. And the desired toys were all so expensive.

For the Nintendo Xmas, I think there were quite a few casualties among the parents trying to grab one.

I just started watching Christmas movies - just rewatched "Polar Express" "A Christmas Story" and "Christmas Vacation" this past week for the umpteenth time.

Last night I watched "A Boy Called Christmas" on Netflix which I really enjoyed. I saw the promo for "* Bit Christmas" and will probably watch tonight. Thanks for the tip!
