Not for streaming, but DVDs. We are part way through, having just finished the wonderful Helen Mirren Prime Suspect series. Beautifully filmed, well acted, nicely paced...and we still don't know who did it!

(1,945 posts)I thought it was really well done, and I never saw the 'reveal' coming, right up to the end. I think every episode I suspected someone else.
I read awhile back that there will be another Broadchurch season, but with different cast. I'm not sure how that will work. I hope it doesn't turn into something like the old Murder She Wrote series where there are all these murders in the one little town. Who the heck would want to live there!! Anyway, if the second series is up to the standards of the first one, I will definitely watch.
And yes, Prime Suspect is a classic.

(60,021 posts)To our tastes, when anything not US is remade for the US, it is inferior....but who knows!
We are about to dig in to Touching Evil again - an old favorite!

(1,945 posts)I never have much faith in the US version of a British series. I understand that David Tennant will reprise his role as the male lead investigator, but that doesn't necessarily mean he can save it. I will give it a shot and see how it goes.
I forgot about Touching Evil. I think I watched the first season on BBC America and never got back to the following ones. Robson Green is always good. Thanks for the reminder!

And Jason Isaacs.
