This sci-fi anthology series explores a twisted, high-tech near-future where humanity's greatest innovations and darkest instincts collide.

Black Mirror season 3 on Netflix: How to watch the six new sinister episodes

Black Mirror makes the jump from Channel 4 to Netflix today (21 October) with six new episodes from Charlie Brooker and, this time, a host of Hollywood acting and directing talent.

We've seen all six and can safely say you're in for a treat, with each new story being dramatic and engrossing and yet still believable. They all centre on futuristic scenarios you may have briefly thought about, but take them to places you never considered.

Released in one go, which is good news for your weekend but arguably not for the show's longevity, the episodes are streaming worldwide for Netflix subscribers now.

Episode details:

1. 'Nosedive'

Insecure office worker Lacie (Bryce Dallas Howard) lives in a happy, smiley, status-obsessed nightmare world. Her old friend Naomi (Alice Eve) is one of society’s elites -- and Lacie may have found a way to join her…

Ohmigod, it's so good! I will warn though that some of them are disturbing, even frightening. Some could happen now, and some are plausible extrapolations of the near future.

like really fine expensive wine. It's very difficult to do- so far I've seen San Junipero (3 times) and would be very happy to get Belinda Carlisle's "Heaven" out of my mind!

A stellar episode, that. Have to respect any TV that can make me cry like a baby.

The music, the cinematography, the actors, all such a cut above the usual. Charlie Brooker is a force. Almost time for another... I'd love to binge the 5 left but TV like this is so rare.

The fact that the music in the arcade is the soundtrack of my teen years made it that much worse.

Truly great art, and yes, I wept uncontrollably too.
