and criminalizing miscarriage as manslaughter.

How do we know? Because they've tried it from time to time in the Babble Belt and have been shouted down. They think if they keep at it, they will succeed.

They won't be happy until all civil rights are removed from women and transferred to the fetus within her, whether it exists or not.

to keep women pregnant and barefoot... No rights for women, period. Next they will be going after women's voting rights and right to work. The work part is a bit of a bugaboo though,, they like that it's has an additive affect on a woman's freedoms when she has to work AND raise children with or without a spouse because, after all. it was her fault for getting pregnant. The movement sees the reproductive rights issue as a major tool for either winning or losing this war on women.

from a different attempt a year or two ago. It was ruled out in court. I can't recall which stupid state tried to pull this off then but it was thrown out during a legal dispute.
