Meatloaf sandwich, piled high with lettuce, raw onion, and tomato. I bought the meatloaf at a store since I don't do anything to heat up my kitchen in the summer. It's surprisingly good. Using 21-grain whole wheat bread.
Tossed green salad with feta cheese, sliced onion, cucumber, black olives, and green pepper. Also herbed mozzarella balls.
For dessert, iced decaf with 1/2 'n 1/2 and chocolate chip cookies (no carbs) and chocolate covered peanuts (no sugar).

(16,959 posts)I was watching the kids today, and they told me to take leftovers. They had a low country boil, red potatoes, corn on the cob, shrimp and andouille sausage. With Old Bay seasoning. Really good
I made blueberry almond flour zucchini bread yesterday, so had some for dessert. Summer time!
I made meatloaf Saturday and have some left. Always good

(22,767 posts)Just burgers with green leaf lettuce, garden tomatoes and dill pickles slices on both, extra sharp cheddar on his, with crinkle fries and more sliced garden tomatoes on the side. They've mostly been ripening when too small, but we have too many and need to eat them up.
I got some more chocolate almond ice cream today, so I'll have a cone later.

Green Beans
Potato slices, baked with seasonings, bacon bits and then some sharp cheese added.
I had the last of the salad from yesterday.

(35,673 posts)One year I planted a lot of them too close together. I gave some to friends and they, too, got hooked on them. Always asking for more. I think Ill do that again tomorrow when Im planting for fall. Going to try this recipe, too.
Luciferous
(6,079 posts)boiled and then mashed with butter and sour cream, and some roasted Brussels sprouts.
Retrograde
(10,136 posts)Poblano peppers stuffed with rice and the leftover ground buffalo (it only came in 1 pound packs, which is too much for burgers for two).
And the leftovers keep proliferating: we were low on tomato sauce, so made a new batch, which means we'll have to make a pizza sometime soon to use that up.
