At least we have the microwave and I believe there's some parchment under the aluminum foil in the cabinet.

May take me awhile to get time to watch the video.

I'd have tried this before now, if I'd known the microwave was an option. That and a toaster oven are about all I can handle at this point. I am a great admitter that I don't know what is even available on YouTube. So much escapes me because I wouldn't even think of making something like potato chips in a microwave, so I wouldn't expect to find a video that tells how.

That green mandolin is a Japanese product. Very good and VERY SHARP!!!!

and don't try to tell yourself that you're only cutting a little bit, and that you'll be careful. Always wear them when using a mandolin.

You can get them at hardware stores, or on Amazon. The ones I have are washable.
