Trader Joe's frozen pizza tonight. They even have the RG seal of approval because they're made in Italy. I'll doctor it up if necessary. One is mushroom-caramelized onion. The other is just pizza Marguerite; this might be the one I'll add to.
A tossed green salad with cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, avocado. Ginger sesame vinaigrette that I made myself.
Dessert: cold coffee and Thai banana fritters (also TJs).
TJ's sure does come in handy over the summertime when the outdoors takes all one's time.

Dessert? I dunno. Breyer's vanilla or fig bars.

(5,661 posts)I made macaroni salad for the bbq.
Ribs and chicken and hotdogs are supposed to be on the grill.
Someone I know is bringing pea salad. Who knows what else will be in the offerings. My first AK bbq.
We sailed to Cold Spring on the Hudson River. The Foodtown had fresh flounder so the First Mate is frying it with a dusting of flour. Steamed broccoli and white rice as accompaniments. Sinful chocolate chip cookies to finish.

(16,959 posts)I made it Wed, and it came out very wet, more like soup. It tasted good, but I wasn't crazy about the texture. It was sturdier today.
I made it with Miracle noodles, tuna, frozen mixed vegs, onion, garlic, celery, and a homemade cream sauce made with almond milk. It was very low-carb.
I still have some pb cookies I made Tuesday, might have one for dessert.

(38,558 posts)I'm loving the simmer sauces you can get at the grocery store... and I think this one is my favorite.
I used chicken thighs instead of white meat. I don't know if it's authentic to add veggies to it, but I did: mushrooms, onions, carrots and zucchini. (I gotta have my veggies.) Served it all over jasmine rice.
Cookies for dessert.
