What's for Dinner, Thurs., Aug. 11, 2022

Big salad with sliced breaded chicken, thinly sliced ham, cherry tomatoes, chopped scallion, cucumber, green pepper, black olives, pepperoncini. Also Gruyere cubes and smoked mozzarella cubes. Used romaine lettuce.

Poppyseed dressing.

Strawberry milkshake and one no-sugar strawberry filled chocolate for dessert.

Trilogy kombucha.

1. Homemade chicken pasta salad and veggies and dip.

We're on the road so will eat alfresco at some park or wayside.

4. That's how we always traveled with our kids.

Dinners out, mostly, but breakfast and lunch at parks or by a lake and such.

2. I need to eat more salad.

Tonight is chicken tenders Parmesan with a side of Alfredo pasta and green beans. Maybe a little ice cream (sticky toffee) for dessert.

3. Boneless pork chops

breaded and fried, tater tots, fresh sweet corn cut from the cob.

Husband will probably have his usual ice cream sandwich later, and I'll probably have my usual almond fudge ice cream cone.

Water to drink.

5. Fried cod sandwiches

With lettuce and tartar sauce
Fresh sweet corn on the cob
Cole slaw

The usual ice cream for the guys for dessert. Tillamook brand is their new fave.

Been doing some canning today so the fish is baked from frozen.

6. Lasagna

with a toss salad and creamy poppy seed dressing.

7. scalloped potatoes w/ kielbasa

and a side salad (iceberg, Vidalia onion, cucumber, carrot, yellow peppers, celery and tomatoes) dressed w/ ranch dressing

dessert is vanilla ice cream w/ strawberries



Dad had chicken and veggie stir-fry over jasmine rice

8. Had leftover lima beans

and made a bowl of creamed tomatoes.

Had some ice cream and a chocolate cookie for dessert.

9. Have leftover spicy pineapple pork

serving that over brown rice/quinoa mix (from a pouch, nuked---great stuff!)

Tomato-cucumber onion marinated salad

Fresh peach cobbler
