piled on jasmine rice. Shrimp gyoza with a spicy dipping sauce. I'm itching for some ice cream but I'm going to resist the urge, I think.

Pan fried pork chops in peanut oil; baked potato with sour cream; lima beans with sour cream (I learned this in France). For some strange reason it is good.

boneless, skinless chicken breasts browned and then simmered in a chicken & mushroom gravy served over rice
sauteed zucchini

ice cream for dessert



Dad had hamburg stroganoff over egg noodles, steamed cauliflower and yellow squash

Still had cabbage. Using pancake mix thin with Chinese five spice added.

Also made a lemongrass paste. It is for various uses but shredded more cabbage and added some red pepper and sweet spicy pickled jalapeños for a slaw.
Added lemongrass paste to a couple tablespoons lemon juice for the slaw sauce. Tastes good. It’s marinating now.

Looking forward to many uses of the lemongrass paste.
