What's for Dinner, Sat., Oct. 8, 2022

Creamy mushroom soup with ravioli. Flavored with thyme.

Miniature cornbread loaf with cheddar cubes and green chile.

Small tossed green salad with scallions, cucumber, and sesame ginger vinaigrette.

Dessert: decaf vanilla nut coffee with chocolate-covered biscotti.

But I'd probably go Italian dressing on the salad, given the flavors in the other dishes, if it were me.

This is one of my favorite meals, but I'm not sure my tummy is quite up to eating yet. There's one piece of meatloaf left, as well as the potatoes. I may give it a shot later. We'll see.

Tomorrow, I'm making homemade sauce and lasagna.

Small piece of a ham steak
Mashed potatoes
Green beans just picked yesterday

Some pepper jack cheese and good old Ritz crackers for a starter.

Afterwards I may have a Clementine or a banana.

Maybe the short ribs from Thursday, with braised cabbage. It's still several hours before I have to actually make a decision!
