(49,313 posts)it's snowing here in the desert so i took the last of the thanksgiving turkey out of the freezer, some baby red taters, some left over yellow rice from last night, a white onion, a couple stalks of celery, a can of the carrots i used to buy to feed to my old (now gone) BubbaDog, a couple cans of chicken broth, the last of the fresh sage, some tarragon and 3 drops of fish oil
came out awesome on a cold night.

(2,012 posts)Just baked an acorn squash in the microwave, scooped out the pulp, whipped it with butter, a little brown sugar, chopped apple, and pecans. My favorite "veggie".

Yeah, so my four-course meal ended after the first course. Good thing I was only cooking for myself tonight.
