Which we're hosting, I went to the Arabic part of town (Dearborn, MI) and bought a ton of tabouleh, baba ganouj, and fresh baked pita.

I still have tons of roast lamb, but am feeling a bit under the weather today. I went to bed early last night because I could not get warm, wondered if I was coming down with something. Then I could not sleep. When I did sleep, I kept dreaming about Smashburger. http://smashburger.com/ Even though I've never been there.

Today, I am feeling blah and am eating carefully. Just got out of bed after two hours; read, didn't sleep.

Pull the thighs and brown under the broiler. Add enough water to the stock to make pasta. Throw in some broccoli. Grated parmesan over all.

A bunch of garlic, some Tamari, some nutritional yeast, apple cider vinegar and lemon juice. Toss the kale in the "dressing," making sure to bruise it so it softens up. Add the other stuff and you're done. Waiting for the quinoa to cook is the longest part of the process.

Mixed greens with carrots, tomatoes, red onion, capers, and green olives. Thousand Island. Pumpernickel bread to go with.

Red: Almirez.
