Lots of muscle with different grain, Very high fat for a roast, a lot of it being internal.

For a holiday party and it came out great.
Mix together about .5 cup brown sugar with desired spices; I just used season salt and garlic powder. Rub mixture into roast and let sit overnight in refrigerator. Cook in crock pot (add no liquid) 8 to 10 hours on low. Remove roast, shred meat with forks (remove big chunks of fat) and place meat back into the broth in the crock pot. Stir in your favorite barbecue sauce to taste.
