I bought some really delicious roasted chickens and they are bringing side dishes. There will be tequila and wine and who knows what else!

I think I'll have my bean soup again.

I rarely have the same thing two days in a row because there's always something else in the 'frig to rotate with. My 7-Bean Melange from yesterday, however, was so good that I can hardly wait to taste it again.

I added a dollop of sour cream, some toasted cherry tomatoes, and chopped cilantro.

The recipe called for one 32-oz container of stock. It took two to make a soup, though, as the beans soaked up all of the first box. This isn't my pic, but this is what it looks like:

Will be a bit more like chicken pot pie in that it'll have a pastry top rather than mashed potatoes, but it should still be plenty yummy.
