and wrapped in prosciutto.

Roasted asparagus with toasted sesame seeds.

And more experimentation with my wilted spinach salad.

If I get really ambitious, I may make a Mollie Katzen recipe--cranberry-maple walnut bars.

About 3/4 pound from loin left over from what I used for Wiener Schnitzel yesterday. Salt, pepper, coated with olive oil, garlic slices inserted, crushed rosemary, covered with three half bacon slices and a shot of white wine to loosen the fond in the delicious pan drippings......

Left-over potatoes and steamed green beans.

polenta, and sauteed cremini mushrooms with green beans. A nice dinner roll for Mr. Pup; I am gluten-free these days. I miss bread, but I miss the use of my hands and arms even more. It's a good day (even if it is Monday) when I can get in the kitchen again.

I do have a play going up in the fall in NYC. My hands are mostly aching from arthritis most of the time, so I don't post much, but I will let you know of this adventure. I lurk here but rarely post. I miss interacting with my C&B buddies!

A common meal, here. Delicious the first day, and even better the day after.

Trader Joe's makes a bagged baby power greens mix that I really like. Kale, spinach, and arugula.

it was my mom's birthday so we went out to eat. I had some filet mignon with 3 kinds of interesting sauces, grilled peppers and asparagus and a stuffed potato. mmm!
