Most shrimp sold away from the southern coastline are frozen, although I occasionally found someone selling tiny fresh Maine shrimp back in Boston.

While fresh shrimp are more flavorful, properly flash frozen shrimp will do the job and snobbery against them is unwarranted.

However, shrimp fajitas? Shame on you, food blogger. That's as much of a mishmash as Philly Cheese Salmon.

Shrimp quesadillas would have been much more successful. Those actually work.

So fresh shrimp isn't an option. Frozen raw shrimp work quite well.

I don't understand all the fuss about shrimp fajitas.

What the hell is so wrong with shrimp fajitas??

For that matter, what's so wrong with frozen shrimp? I live in the high desert, so fresh seafood comes frozen - that's the only way we can get it and still taste good.

I don't get it either, bif.
