(No really.) I picked up some salmon heads at the grocery, and decided to give it a shot. I plan on doing a quick roast on the heads first. Most of the recipes on the web don't have enough veggies in 'em, so I'm adding carrots, snow peas, Napa cabbage, and some nori.

Edit: I'll use udon for the noodles.

We take a jar of our home-grown, homemade black raspberry jam, mix it with honey mustard and some lemon or lime juice (tonight it was key lime juice, actually) spread that on the bottom of the dish, stick in filleted chicken breasts, coat the top with more of the jam mix, then bake for an hour at 350. Potatoes are small yukon gold, boiled, then smashed onto aluminum foil on a pan and covered with thinly sliced sharp white vermont cabot and popped in for 10 min or so at the end, just to melt it nicely.

Nicely warm and filling on this cold night.

We are heading back north and sailed all day. Now in an isolated harbor with about 4 other boats for the night.

Capitan worked hard and is ready to eat!

Sautéed quick and slathered in butter & black pepper. Used the butter "sauce" as a base to cook the asparagus and mushrooms. White rice.
