What's for Dinner, Fri., Apr. 8, 2016

Stuffed peppers, topped with cheese.

Tossed salad, using my homemade chipotle ranch,

Pear crisp, topped with vanilla gelato.

Glass of red wine, for sure.

Everything's all done except for assembling the crisp. I sliced all the pears, and put together the "crisp" to crumble over it. I'm glad I did all that, because I've been out clearing my bamboo forest for 4.5 hours. All that work and fresh air is gonna' catch up with me soon!

And I can only tell you three things about it (cause it's my wife's production):

1. She picked up most of the ingredients today from a local Thai market.

2. It is absolutely delicious.

3. It is accompanied by tea and Singha beer.

the neighbor left us his canned goods when he moved and it was just campbell's, but the husband snazzed it up a bit. he also made the sandwich but, much to my disappointment, there really wasn't actually cheese in it. it was two slices of toast with a thin coating of cheese. i couldn't complain, though, because it's the first time in month's he's made dinner and it was sweet because he knew i had a bad week.
