I have a few leftovers to consume, none of which really go together. But what the heck, I need some storage containers cleaned and ready for the next feast.

ps: Picked up a nice corned flat brisket on the cheap today. Maybe sometime next week it'll go into the pot.

Mixed greens (mustard, turnip, kale) and diced turnip root sauteed with garlic and cumin. Salad of tomato, bell pepper, green onion, dressed with lemon and olive oil.

Daughter is here and giving me a small education in trying lots of new things. We're doing rolls in rice paper for her and nori for me, with shrimp and vegetables and two wonderful dipping sauces, peanut and Vietnamese nuoc cham, broccoli and brown rice on the side. Can't wait to dig in!
And last night was Smitten Kitchen's roasted ratatoille -- heaven!
