It is basically mashed potates with green onions in hot milk or cream and shredded cooked cabbage. Top off with a know of butter. No fake stuff or St. Paddy will get ya.

so I might be doing a pot of colcannon, leftovers turned into bubble & squeak.

But most of those recipes? Irish tacos? Gag time.
