I have a problem with my cat. Have had her for more than a year and suddenly she pees

outside the box. Poops inside but pees right next to it. The other cat, much older, has no problem with the box.

We clean the box first thing in the morning every day.

Any advice on how to return her to good potty habits?

She could have a urinary tract infection and she may have stopped peeing in the box because she associates it with discomfort. Get that checked first, and if she's OK the vet can advise you about behavior modification - but get her checked out soon because UTIs can be life-threatening.

even if the wellness exam did not show any problems. Cats hide problems well and the vet can't diagnose a urinal tract infection without symptoms or testing. If it is painful to pee, the cats tend to go outside the box.

Take her to the vet.
