Local children's favourite Cheeky was set to appear in her farm's Christmas show – until she was savagely knifed 12 times in the abdomen and neck last night.

Gwent Police were today hunting for the heartless attacker who stabbed Cheeky in her stable in the Greenmeadow Community Farm, in Cwmbran, South Wales.
