Madoc ran out of patience with me this morning

Kidcat breakfast time is between 5:45 and 6. This morning I was still DEEP in dreamland (literally). At 6:20 Madoc had HAD ENOUGH of my laziness so he grabbed the pillow and tried to yank it out from beneath my head!

It startled me awake and I tried to hop up out of bed but my inner gyro was still transitioning from dreamland and I almost face planted. Yea, I was that emmeshed in that dream. Fortunately, none of the fur babies suffered any nutritional deprivation, due to my irresponsible and neglectful behavior.

I must try to do better.

So far she's relied on head butts to wake me up. She has developed a fiendishly effective technique that involves inserting her head between me and the mattress and pushing hard, creating a jolt that is much harder to sleep through than a regular head butt. She does not need to add pillow snatching to her bag of tricks!
