The feral's shelter is finally assembled!!!

It wasn't easy. For one thing, the directions were pretty sparse. Then I couldn't find the screw bit that would have fit the screws so I had to do everything with an old fashioned screw driver.

Now I'm too tired to move it to what I hope is a great spot. I'll do that tomorrow.

I'm going to come up with some ideas to spruce it up.

The canopy over the doorway, and the draft excluders.

I guess the colour might need some consideration, and some sort of soft floor covering.

Is it dark in there, or is there some natural lighting?

I'm going to see if they guys think they might be able to put a small window in the front or on the side.

I've got lots of straw for bedding, and a few cat mats.

Painting it white might be a good option. That will make it look like an extension of the house. I think having it face East is the best placement.
