They don't have much to fear, the Russian alternative is so clunky as to be unusable.

However, they seem to have caved to threats.

Like the Russian Dude and Artur Rehi. Both have mentioned trolling and problems with the platform censoring them.

The capper was when he mentioned last year on a QnA that part of his "Ukraine Donations" go to his relatives.

6. Agree. I watch "Reporting from Ukraine" Good content. Also Perun, but he can get a little long winded

Perun is a military economist and has a different take on the war. He comes at it from a economic view. There are a bunch of others I look at sometimes but as usual you have to separate the grain from the chaff. Being pro Ukraine tends to be biased and that is understandable.

... toward Ukraine by the Rabid Right within the House of Representatives, it would not be much of a stretch to suspect behind-the-scenes threats and machinations from the likes of Empty Greene as factor in this unwarranted attack. The blatant mendacity and simplistic rationale for this action reeks of the low-wattage intellect that defines that group. There is no bottom to the cesspool of malice and depravity in which Greene and her crew delight in wallowing.

YouTube has shot themselves in the foot, so to speak, with this demonstrably false accusation against a well-established and responsible channel, and their judgement and impartiality is forever suspect as a result.
