I figured the sworn testimony of Lev Parnas yesterday,

in which he named sitting members of Congress and other public figures as witting and willing agents of Russian disinformation, would be dominating the news cycle today.

I haven't watched everything, but I haven't seen much about it today. Our news channels sure weren't shy about reporting on the allegations against Biden, but they don't seem to be doing much to correct the record.

I thought identifying Russian disinformation agents infiltrating our government and media would be a big f'ing deal.

Guess not.

A lie can travel around the world before the truth gets its shoes on.

They seem to be avoiding that whole testimony. PBS didn't even mention it in their recap Walleye Mar 21 #1

I am baffled, imagine if the guy had made incriminating claims about Hunter and Joe. Are they all being paid by Putin, for crying out loud?

New anchor Jeff what’s his name, and fashion monger Lisa de Jardins were all about Bobo Bolinsky’s testimony and crickets on Lev Parnas.

Now Republicans are just fine with it, because Trump has led the way.
You really have to explain to these guys why this is a problem.

So the news story just doesn't have the punch the media is looking for.

Seeing what the Monday evening news will elaborate upon. Since Rachel Maddow was very interested in this case years ago and was the only person to interview Lev when he was involved in litigation, I anticipate her spending some time on it in her upcoming show. I also think Jen Psaki will too. Pretty sure Lawrence will weigh in. I don't mind if they take a day or two to digest and research before telling us what was going on.
