If you search my posts this morning - you can see where I responded to two different people.

They think she's married to Kanye.

So that makes her "fair game" to be degraded using crass sexual language and imagery.

Maybe they are Huckabee minions?  I don't know.

Leads me to believe that this person thinks that Beyonce is married to Kanye - i.e. he's 'sticking up' for his wife that doesn't need sticking up.

Its not enough for Kanye that Beyonce is probably 1000 times richer than Beck

2. I'm not a fan of any of them

I think Beyonce is probably a really nice, good person. I saw the stuff that happened at the Grammys with Kanye, Swift (also not a fan) and I think what he did was horrible and inexcusable and what Beyonce did incredibly sweet and classy. I think Beyonce has a beautiful voice and much talent, just don't care for the music. I don't even know who Beck is.

That the thread Randy talked about was horrible. So much rancor and hate. Worse yet, racist bullshit.

I guess it falls under current events so no reason to lock or hide the post. Just really surprised about many of the replies, and I didn't even read half of it.

I am no innocent when it comes to occasionally partaking in celebrity gossip but not to that extent. Besides the obvious that is wrong with that thread, it's that kind of crap that keeps the paparazzi and enquirer in business.

3. I just think it's silly that anyone would bring Beyonce into it

I don't think that action was 'sanctioned' by her or her husband.

And if that's the case - she's as much a victim as Beck is.

And I've got a little bit of insight into some of that stuff - and she (Beyonce) is not 'good' with Kartrashian there.

Maybe Kanye wanted to be a little vindictive in retaliation and Beck was just collateral damage? We'll read it in a tell all one day for sure.

4. to be completely honest

I don't even know what happened. I assume it was along the same lines as the swift thing. Beyonce was not okay with that so I doubt she is okay with this.

I just people would realize just how awful what they say is. I watched an episode of Barney Miller last night when Harris was shot at by white cops. Harris was making an arrest and the white cops assumed he was the bad guy. It was a really good show. Unfortunately, it also showed that nothing has changed in 40 years.

6. The Beyonce attacks are damn near indistinguishable from the attacks on Oprah about 30 years ago

when she dared to be the best, baddest bitch at what she was doing.

Some of those comments in that other thread were so over the top and stupid no one in their right mind could walk away thinking that it was just about music though in all honesty, I've come across a lot of white men in my life that are so convinced of their own superiority and brilliance on every topic that people who disagree with them simply have to be stupid, ignorant or brain damaged. And simply saying "she's not my cup of tea" somehow immediately turns into "she's a no talent slut with a big ass and anyone who likes her must be fucked in the head." These people are as devoid reason of as they are of decency.

The main difference is that Oprah had the nerve to be brown skinned and heavy on top of ambitious and hard working so people were even harsher. Beyoncé's light skin and ever present flowing blonde weave have given her some shelter but she is obviously still prey to attacks from ignorant people mad as hell that she is at the TOP of her field and has been for a very long time. And I say this as someone who has never once bought a single Beyoncé CD or track but can still appreciate that this woman is incredibly talented and works her ASS off to be as good as she is.
