Look I'd love to help ya but...

I don't want to...

Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) told black lawmakers Wednesday that he supports new voting rights protections they've championed, but said he won't bypass a committee chairman to move legislation, according to a Democrat who attended the gathering.

"He said it right in front of everybody — he said he supports the [Jim] Sensenbrenner bill," Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.), former chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC), said after Ryan met with the group on Capitol Hill.

"So somebody was saying, 'Well, why don't you go tell your committee chair to do it?' " Cleaver added. "And he said, … 'Look, I can't do that.' "

who doesn't know what the hell his job is supposed to be, other than just collect his increased paycheck and wait for some militia jerk to off both the President and Vice President so he can step into another office he'd have no clue how to fulfill.

I'd be a little suspicious about any "voting rights protection" that comes out of this Clown Congress, to be honest. However, it's nice to see Ryan exposing himself as an ineffectual little twerp who's scared of his own shadow. But y'all knew that, right?

6. You can trust them to name any law something completely opposite, like The Clean Air Act

that reduces EPA control, Right to Work laws that undercut worker's rights, and the crown jewel, the Patriot Act.

The Speaker's vow not to sidestep Goodlatte on the issue, however, puts a likely nail in the coffin of any voting rights bill this year.

Asshole.

Wish there was a way to sidestep around HIS ass.
