Just the idea that racism is discussed like it is an item- or an idea- that you blithely drop into a trite sentence, asking someone (a candidate!) how they will snap their fingers and make it disappear.
As if racism was an amusing puzzle to solve. Let's set up a dunking booth for those who fail! Because THAT is what's important, the game.

I've been reading many of your posts as well - and like many folks around the AA forum, you have clarity and a spirit of trying to learn, understand, and teach. You aren't the only person like this, but unfortunately, voices are getting muted over silliness and nonsense.

20. I have dear friends who are big Bernie fans, and they were the ones who told me he was known for-

and successful only because of- his total avoidance of "wedge issues". They were excited about his candidacy, and had never really considered how this would play out on the national stage. Like a lot of others, they were excited to get back Dem voters we've lost and Indies. But they really had not thought of the cost to the Dem base. They assumed Bernie would "do the right thing" and only realized after we spoke about it that he needed to say and do more.
