Frank Gore sports dead Dolphins hoodie after game..

In modern sports where the logo is everything, Frank Gore chose his post-game wardrobe to make a statement, not a buck.

Wearing a hoodie with a dead, upside-down Miami Dolphin on it, Gore told the media after the game:

“I had this before the season. I know we had the Dolphins on the schedule. I’m not playing there, so I said, ‘We’ve got to flip them upside down when we play them.’”

Gore had his usual smashmouth performance Sunday afternoon, powering his way for 63 yards on the ground and a touchdown as the 49ers beat the Dolphins, 27-13.

I saw him interviewed after the game and he had shoes on to match. Gore is just having a bit of fun. He was born in Miami, of course attended school there, and much of his family still lives in Florida...

For this guy to overcome his horrific knee injuries in college is amazing.

Dude averaged around 10 yards a carry when he was healthy at Miami.

Gore's rushing TD Sunday was the 50th of his career, which ties him with Joe Perry and Roger Craig. Plus, he already holds the franchise record for career NFL rushing yards.

Soft spoken, works hard, plays while hurt, and never complains. The lead man in Harbaugh's "humble hearts"..

Not a bad return for a guy who dropped all the way down to the 3rd round.

But it's a logo of an animal...doesn't sit well with me...showing any dead animal.

I love animals too. Frankly I like their company a heck of a lot more than that of most people. However, since as you point out, this isn't a real dolphin... technically no dead animal is being shown...

The love of violence by far too many football players is disturbing.
