Favorite ------------Underdog

At Houston / -4.5 / Cincinnati
At Green Bay / -7.5 / Minnesota
At Baltimore / -7 / Indianapolis
Seattle / -3 / At Washington

I predict ...

Winner: Houston, and they will cover
Winner: Green Bay, but Minnesota will beat spread
Winner: Indianapolis
Winner: Washington

I prefer to see AP advance but feel Green Bay has the best chance to win that game.

I think Houston will win and cover as well. I think Baltimore will win but Indy is tricky. They outperform their numbers by winning games in the clutch. I think like 7 of their victories were decided late in the 4th and OT. So Baltimore wins but Indy covers.

I almost want to pick Washington but can't underestimate Seattle. Top 3 defense w/ top 5 rushing attack w/ an above average passing game against one of the league's best offenses but below average defense. Should be a fun game. I pick Seattle but FedEx is a tough place to win in the regular season, especially for western teams (I know from watching Arizona in their NFC East days), I imagine it's tougher in the playoffs.

Officially

Houston
Minnesota
Indianapolis
Seattle

adds up to a lot of travel. Could be ripe for an upset.

I'm looking forward to those games you mention as well.

Blasphemy!

It's at Lambeau - Green Bay has a better chance on this one.

Minnesota has the #2 rushing offense, Green Bay has the #17 run defense.

I'm going with the upset.

So Cleveland ended up being victimized, too.

Houston to win and cover
Green Bay to win and not cover
Baltimore to win and not cover
Seattle to win and cover

Statistically, I should be right on half of my picks (the winners and the covers) but I doubt I'll get more than 3 of the 8.

I hope the Colts manage to pull this one out as the Ravens would be an incredibly tough match-up w/ a healthy D.

I miss Boldin, he is having a terrific game. I always thought and still do think he is better receiver than Fitz outside of the red zone (better ability to turn something out of nothing but lacks the size to be a reliable red zone target).

on edit - LOL, he scores in the red zone not long after posting that. He still does lack the height Fitzgerald has where he can be targeted up high and can consistently out-leap the defender to come down w/ it.
