According to a source, Bush made a large offer to buy the team this offseason, but Loria told him hes not selling. A second source said Bush had put together a group of wealthy investors, with Venezuelan media mogul Gustavo Cisneros among possibilities mentioned.

And since I'm not a Marlins fan, I wish it had happened.

The Marlins have been one of the most profitable franchises in MLB for quite some time. Even last year when they "broke the bank" they did pretty well.
