Oscar Pistorius Shooting: Domestic Incidents Previously Reported At Olympian's Home, Say Police

Police have previously been called to the home of Oscar Pistorius because of incidents "of a domestic nature," a spokesperson confirmed.

Brigadier Denise Beukes also said police were "very surprised" by a previous suggestion that Pistorius had fired the shots after hearing a burglar.

Beukes told reporters near the scene: "These allegations did not come from us."

Pistorius will be charged with murder when he appears before magistrates after a woman, believed to be his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, was shot dead at his home in Pretoria, South Africa.

And no, I do not believe he was "shooting at a burglar". Especially since there is a history here. Sorry I ever rooted for this guy.

2. Very sad if it's true...the guy was considered a ground-breaker...

Says there's history...then again, that's from the police. It's a weird way to kill someone you're abusing...seems like it would be abusee using the gun to fight back.

for the abuser to shoot the victim or someone close to them. I know personally one case of this.
