To the naked eye, it appears that the Cowpies may have gotten hosed.

Then again, it appeared to the naked eye that the tuck rule play was a fumble. So change the rule, already.

That was a catch. The technicality of the rule is just that. It's a sillly technicality that makes a great catch a non-catch.

Change the rule.

On Edit: I don't watch football to enjoy the refs properly interpreted the nuances of the rule book. I watch to see outstanding athletes make great plays.

Now don't get me started on stupid golf rules. That book is full of them. And as someone who actually passed the officials' test 3x since 1990, i know how dumb the rules are.
