Is there an Aussie tennis player who ISN'T an asshole?
Another round, another win and another spat with a chair umpire – all in a day’s work for Nick Kyrgios, the fiery, young Aussie who’s finally bringing some controversy back to tennis.
In a routine 7-6 (5), 6-3, 6-4 second-round Wimbledon win over former top 10 player Juan Monaco, Kyrgios got into a spat with the chair after the umpire asked King Nick a question during a changeover. That’s when the 20-year-old got pouty and tough, in an exchange that sounded just as threatening as anything John McEnroe ever said. (But not you, Serena. You still take the cake.) The umpire’s question is inaudible in this clip, unfortunately.
Said Kyrgios: “Is that a threat? Does it feel good to be up there in the chair? Do you feel strong up there in the chair? You’re a real champion. Did you get your point across?”
All this came after a first-round match in which Kyrgios yelled “dirty scum” after a conversation with the chair umpire. He later said he was referring to himself. He also threatened not to play after an overrule.

The writer seems to think this is good...I don't...as to my question, can't think of a male tennis player, going back as far as John Newcombe who wasn't worthless (Rod Laver seems decent, but that's too far back). The women seem ok. with the exception of fundie nutjob Margaret Court.
