Fans give these ten pro athletes the biggest thumbs down, according to recent survey results from Nielsen and E-Poll Market Research. Scores are derived from the total percentage of fans that claim their view of an athlete is "dislike"; "dislike a lot" or "dislike somewhat." The field is limited to those registering at least 10% awareness with the general public.

3) Plaxico Burress
4) Ndamukong Suh
5) Kris Humphries
6) LeBron James
7) Kobe Bryant
8) Terrell Owens
9) Alex Rodriguez
10) Kurt Busch

Except for Vick and Owens none of the others make my top ten. I didn't care for the way James exited Cleveland but that doesn't put him on my list. The White Sox' A.J. Pierzynski does for punching Giants' trainer Stan Conte in the groin while Conte was coming to his aid. Pierzynski was a Class A douchebag in San Francisco. I don't follow basketball that closely and NASCAR not at all, so I can't comment on the others.

4. Unlike Humphries, all the other athletes are at least near the top of their sport.

I still don't see why he'd be so hated, I suspect it's because a whole bunch of people were polled who don't know much about sports but watch the follow the Kardashians regularly.

5. Solid list except for Humphries

I had no idea who he even was until someone mentioned the K*rd*sh**n connection. Especially nice to see Kurt Busch getting some non-love.

A replacement for Humphries might be Rapelisberger or his teammate James "Cheaters Never Win" Harrison.
