*** NFL PICKS / SUPERBOWL ***

The opening line has the Patriots favored to win by 3 points.

I'll take Atlanta.

We'll need a tie-breaker, so I suggest total points scored. I'll guess 65.

My 2017 playoff record is 8-2.

Good luck.

Hate the thought of another Super Bowl ring for Brady/Belichick but they are master strategists and find a way to contain opposing offenses. Expect Julio Jones to be doubled teamed the way Antonio Brown was yesterday.

I'll go with a 31-20 Pats victory (making the total points on the board = 51, even with my bad math I can figure that out).

P.S. My picks to date are 9-1.

Even if you're 100% bang on in your prediction and you eclipse me by virtue of the tie-breaker, I will still revel in the Pats going home losers!

You were closer in total points but I UNFORTUNATELY predicted the winning team.

I was ready to happily concede at the end of the third quarter, but those damn Pats can never be counted out!

It disappeared.

Anyway, congrats True Dough. You win bragging rights this year.

You can be sure those Falcons players, particularly on defense, will be going over that game in their minds (and on video) over and over again.

Must be painful.

Anyway, your picks were solid all year. Congrats to you too. Looking forward to next year. Hopefully Brady retires!

But, a win is a win, and geez, 5 in 16 years in a league that's been designed for that not to happen? That's pretty odd too.
