🏈 Broncos trading 6th round pick for Jets QB Zach Wilson + 7th rounder

The New York Jets are trading former No. 2 overall pick Zach Wilson to the Denver Broncos, a source confirmed to ESPN.

The Jets will receive a sixth-round selection (No. 203) in this week's NFL draft from the Broncos, who along with Wilson will receive a seventh-round pick (No. 256). The Jets will pay an undisclosed portion of Wilson's $5.5 million salary in 2024, the source said.

The Vikings trading for Herschel Walker or the Saints giving away their entire draft haul for Ricky Williams are both worse.

I’d forgotten how massive the trade the Saints made with Washington was for Williams. Ditka traded away his whole draft AND a first round pick the next year.

The Saints traded their first round, third round, fourth round, fifth round, sixth round, and seventh round picks in the 1999 NFL Draft,[7][8] and their first-round and third-round picks from the 2000 NFL Draft to the Washington Redskins for the fifth overall pick of the 1999 NFL Draft.[9][1]
The Redskins traded the 12th overall pick, the third-round draft pick acquired from the Saints, and their fourth- and fifth-round picks to the Chicago Bears to acquire the seventh overall pick. The Redskins used the pick to select Champ Bailey,[10] the player they had coveted. They also made a second trade with the Bears, acquiring a second-round pick that allowed them to select Jon Jansen, in exchange for a second round pick and the fifth round pick acquired from the Saints.[11][12]
