His first mistake was calling the UCC a "whackjob" church. It's very mainstream. He kept going downhill from there.

I know very few atheists who speculate on the depth and character of Obama's belief system because Obama doesn't seem hell bent on forcing it onto the rest of us, unlike the Republicans Penn favors. Perhaps this is a pastime of Republican atheists. I don't know any of those, so I can't answer for them.

And that's as far as I got into this rant. He might be an atheist but his partisanship and tangents off into sheer idiocy are threatening to make him an irrelevant one.

what bullshit. He imagines that these corrupt fuckers are going to implement the stupid rightwing libertarian dystopia he believes in, but they dont intend to do anything of the sort. I cant listen to his political crap. Heard it already.

obama and romney are not the same with respect to religiousity. The republican party and romney are pushing theocracy and justifying policy based on theistic bullshit. Obama and the democratic party are not doing that. I could not care less what their personal religious beliefs are, or aren't, I care a lot, and so should you, and so should that idiot penn, about people who base policy on the nonsense they supposedly believe.

He is pushing a false equivalency and he is smart enough to know better.
