FLORIDA - Obama +1
Miami Herald/Mason-Dixon
Obama - 48
Romney - 47
Not a big lead, but a lead is a lead at this point and it's Romney who needs to start putting up better numbers.

MONTANA - SENATE - Rehberg +3
Rehberg (R) - 48
Tester (D) - 45
Tester is 3 points down, but that's still within the margin of striking distance if he can move up over the next month. I'd like to see Bill Clinton spend a day with Tester. He won this state in 1992.

If he wants 2016, he may want Obama in until then

(24,689 posts)and OH is looking good. But it would be very nice to win FL again.
Blue Yorker
(436 posts)Because of the difficult electoral-college situation that Romney's in elsewhere.
Still nice to win it though, to keep it safe.
Laura PourMeADrink
(42,770 posts)to me that any poll could have Romney within striking distance. This man is absolutely crazy, and very
scary.
DCBob
(24,689 posts)I think in the end we win FL but it will be close.
TroyD
(4,551 posts)And Katharine Harris is no longer Secretary of State.
And people are much more vigilant about funny business than they were during the Bush years.
And besides, this is just one poll. Others have Obama further ahead.
Blue Yorker
(436 posts)It's a well-greased machine willing to do anything.
Jennicut
(25,415 posts)In fact, he led in a lot of states. This is not the same polling we are seeing for President Obama.

In fact, Mason Dixon never had Kerry poll in the lead:
