Related: About this forumZerban's Congressional campaign against Ryan is really heating up
From an email we just received from Rob Zerban's campaign:
Yesterday, we had a problem -- there were so many volunteers in the office to support Rob that we ran out of supplies!
Momentum in the district is picking up. Rob Zerban yard signs are popping up everywhere, we're hosting house parties and forums every week, and Rob is connecting with the voters.
We have had more volunteer engagement than we could ever have expected. Our volunteers are excited about Rob and are ready to get rid of Paul Ryan. Will you help them reach more voters?
I can testify that a number of people at President Obama's rally in Milwaukee were wearing Zerban buttons along with their Obama gear.
Rob Zerban is the most serious opponent Ryan has ever faced. Rob's story--receiving government aid to get his education and then building a successful small business that employed many workers--is very appealing. The district used to be blue and could easily be so again, given all the negatives about Ryan that his constituents are now learning from national sources. It will be a struggle, no doubt about that, but how great would it be to defeat Paul Ryan twice in one day? Any contributions or virtual phone banking (or boots on the ground in the 1st District of Wisconsin) will help Rob bring that home for us.

(4,119 posts)The blue-eyed dreamboat...as Jon Stewart calls him....better get out there and campaign for his seat. Would hate to see him added to the list of jobless come fall and....God forbid....have to go on the dole.
P.S. Personally, I don't find him in the least bit attractive. I bet he's terrible in bed. Greed extends to all catagories.

(2,391 posts)If he doesn't campaign for his House seat, he may very well lose both locally and nationally.
Well, gosh. That would be awful.

(3,577 posts)$2 million worth of ads. Think he's worried just a bit? But money alone won't cut it. Zerban's team and his army of volunteers are on the job.

(2,391 posts)And he needs to spend $2M in ads to also counter the exposure he's getting as the VP candidate!
