Republican AZ Senate seat in play for Dems

Thu Sep 27, 2012

Outgoing Republican Senator Jon Kyl's Senate seat could be turning Democratic. Not only that, but new polling shows President Obama gaining on Mitt Romney in Arizona.

Ed Schultz talks to the Democratic challenger for Kyl's seat, former U.S. Surgeon General Richard Carmona.

By making a play for Arizona this year we can help keep the Senate and move on the House, we will also be laying the ground for the future. The West will be Blue.

What i find most interesting was the race between ron barber (d) and jesse kelly (r) earlier this year in this same area. Barber won hands down and it didn't surprise me. Disgruntled conservatives kept a low key and voted in silence against Kelly.
