http://www.wral.com/business/story/11602484/"RALEIGH, N.C. Unemployment across the Triangle fell to 7.9 percent in August from 8.1 percent in July, the North Carolina Department of Commerce, Labor and Economic Analysis Division reported Friday.
Statewide, unemployment fell in 13 of the major metropolitan areas but it jumped in Fayetteville to 11.2 percent from 10.4 percent the previous month.
The jobless rate also fell in 72 of the state's 100 counties.
The not-seasonally adjusted jobless rate for the state was 9.7 percent in August. "
