Really want your opinion...who's is better to help the candidates on debates

Portman for Romney or Kerry for Obama?

I'm pretty new to DU. It's apparent that some have been on DU for a long time and most likely keep up with politics more than I. I appreciate the thoughtful input on many posts and would like another round of serious thoughts on this.
I don't know much about Portman as far as his debate skills. So my question is, how well will he be able to prepare Romney for the debates versus Kerry preparing President Obama. Who is better able to anticipate questions, have a good rebuttal, have a good strategy. Do you think either candidate also use a debate specialist to help?
Since I haven't heard too much talk about the differences between Portman or Kerry as who is better at preparing (Romney/Obama) for debates, I thought I'd put the question out there....

But I thought Portman was playing Obama in practice sessions with Romney and Kerry was playing Romney in practice sessions with Obama
