The Socialist is still in the running?

My gawd, what has this country come to? A flaming Socialist runs against a capitalist heroine and at last count was standing tall waving a flag of victory above the Wall Street candidate.

This surely is a sign of the end of the world. Used to be, in the orderly, controlled and managed populace, the establishment's candidates would wipe the floor with whoever stood up against them. Kucinich, anyone? Gore got smacked down and Kerry relegated to SoS. Put in their place, they were.

Bernie had better watch out. Until now he was safe .... hidden away and no one payed any attention to him. Now he has smacked down and beat up on the establishment. We all know what happens to those types, eh?

A Socialist waving the flag of victory on an American stage? We're doomed!!

Obama left the gate open. He refused to support the capitalist candidate and has now made it all but certain that Socialist can take over the White House and make college free-for-all with the best health care in the world!

What will we tell our children when history records the days America devalued the dollar and used plain old common sense to purchase the future? How can we explain that away? Obama may be the best scapegoat we can find. Certainly the republicans will agree.
