(36,063 posts)What we are sure of is money was paid and the payment was said to be for "speeches".
Maybe she has no clear recollection of what was said off the cuff. Maybe the only record that exists exists in a digital file belonging to Goldman Sachs etc.
In that case she'd have to look into having other people provide the material for a transcript.

(19,326 posts)..Will you release those transcripts or not?

(36,063 posts)Was it clear that they were in Clinton's possession? I don't know, that's why I'm asking.

(19,326 posts)but I wonder if that sound we hear is shredders at Camp Weathervane.
Gorgatron
(95 posts)New here and was wondering, is Camp Weathervane just basically a "slur", if you will, to refer to the Clinton campaign for her perceived political expediency?

(19,326 posts)Cooper and Hillary. I need to hear it again so speak with certainty. My strong impression
from the way Cooper asked the question however, the transcripts DO exist somewhere,
and his implication was that they would be within her grasp as she desired. Anyways,
I'm going to need to see/hear it again before taking this any further.
Voice for Peace
(13,141 posts)Clinton HQ must look like a roomful of them. A roomful of hot air and weathervanes blowing around in circles, pointing at themselves and each other.. Instead of outside where the actual wind is.

(19,326 posts)it's a little dicey in GD-P Forum, one never knows if one is being led down
a path into a snare. I was apparently being overly cautious, and I apologize
for that.

(10,495 posts)Hillary. He believes that there are sometimes when it's better to leave her in the hole she dug than to pile dirt on her. She would love to play the victim, it's one of her favorites. Bernie' subtle approach is very effective for him.
This answer tells everyone what they need to know. You know she is lying, everyone watching knows she is lying, and we can all picture her giving this type of answer again on several other issues. She could produce those speeches tomorrow morning if she wanted to. She changes her message to suit the crowd right down to fake accents.

(5,082 posts)She deserves to be booted out of politics altogether by the voters for an answer like that. I'd take O'Malley over her even. She resembles a criminal lawyer, banker pretending to be a solid politician. We don't need candidates like this in our party.

how not to release them.
I'll look into how to release only edited versions.
I'll look into how to have it both ways by releasing only selected speechesbut not all of them.

Or, in other words, I'll get back to you on that.
Or, in other words, entirely unacceptable for a presidential candidate.
But then, it's a Clinton.
And, it doesn't escape us, Madame, that it's easier to appear reasonable, logical, diplomatic (Kissinger gave you kudos; that's something you're proud of; got it), et al., when compared to the charlatans (your respected colleagues) on the other side of the aisle.
What a hack.
