So when is the UN going to come in and take them away from us,
I used to ask during the start of the Iraq war...
I can well understand why Iran might feel the need to obtain nuclear weapons.
They NEED them to defend themselves-- against US.

(16,631 posts)Nations gets together to deal with ISIS. It shouldn't be the US. Saudi Arabia with its Wahhabi version of Shiite Islam is the main source of ISIS, aka Daesh.

(2,682 posts)Because if we start dumping money into the area controlled by ISIL at the same rate we dumped money into Iraq, it will certainly bankrupt us.

NK is a loose cannon with an unstable dictator that has nuclear weapons.
We have a relationship with Putin. (MAD)
We have agreements with Iran.
Not so with with North Korea.
ISIS is nuts, and we need allies to defeat them, but we can.
North Korea is a dangerous unknown.
