(27,814 posts)Or maybe the official seating plan?
I'd like to review them, and see what conspiracy theories I can fabricate as to why who was sitting next to who, and what nefarious connections between them are now obvious to anyone paying attention!
My favourite thing is to look for the people who are wearing the same colour as an accessory or accent - like a red tie, red trim on a navy blue dress, a red handkerchief tucked ever so discreetly in someone's breast pocket. I can REALLY go to town on the idea that it's code, man - and they're all in on it (whatever "it" is) together.
"Who's texting who?" is another one. Just watch the people checking their phones at the same time, and then texting a response. You're gonna try to convince me they're not ALL communicating with each other about destroying that whiny middle-class once and for all?
Ah - playing pretend is so much fun. It's just really sad when people take it seriously.

(19,460 posts)Pick out a couple of ladies in the audience and see if they are wearing the same shade of lipstick. Those are probably two Hillary supporters who earlier in the day hit the cosmetic department at one of the major mall shops. They team up and go in pairs so they can twist arm someone poor sales clerk into voting for Hillary then buy the same shade of lipstick. It's a code, you know?

(27,814 posts)And let's not forget the far-too-frequently overlooked astrological aspect.
If there's an Aquarian sitting next to a Pisces - AND there's a Scorpio seated next to a Capricorn within three rows of them, you just KNOW there's a Gemini in the balcony who's been paying people big bucks to endorse Hillary.

Why is it ok that bankers are in the pockets of our lawmakers?
I don't care who they are and I don't care what party they are a member of, this is an issue which should concern everybody.
Our democracy has been sold to the highest bidder and it's disgusting.
You want the seating arrangements? ok.

(88,117 posts)And they are still doing it. The bloggers still tend to hit from the left, the Democrats are still trending right.
Also a Democratic party spokesperson (Elmendorf) had a very "pragmatic" point of view about such bloggers then in 2006.
"The bloggers and online donors represent an important resource for the party, but they are not representative of the majority you need to win elections," said Steve Elmendorf, a Democratic lobbyist who advised Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. "The trick will be to harness their energy and their money without looking like you are a captive of the activist left."
Remember reporter Jim Vandehei?
from Jim VandeHei on the perceived rising power of the bloggers.
Democrats are getting an early glimpse of an intraparty rift that could complicate efforts to win back the White House: fiery liberals raising their voices on Web sites and in interest groups vs. elected officials trying to appeal to a much broader audience.
...... The blogs-vs.-establishment fight represents the latest version of a familiar Democratic dispute. It boils down to how much national candidates should compromise on what are considered core Democratic values -- such as abortion rights, gun control and opposition to conservative judges -- to win national elections.

(11,945 posts)She can hold down a position, but her records as Senator and as SOS are barely adequate. She lacks the qualities that we, as her prospective employers, want and need in a president.
Someone (ahem) should write an OP from the perspective of us as the employer and Hill, Bernie (Trump, Cruz) as job seekers. It might be a good way of getting Hill folk to start thinking beyond the glossy surface.
It could be revealing.

(11,945 posts)Our nation's founders had this sort of thing in mind all along, of course. It's hard to believe we could have misunderstood them so profoundly for nearly 250 years.
Glad we finally got it all straightened out.
